Chun Mee, also known as Zhen Mei(precious eyebrows), gong xi, Mee Tea(Mee Cha), Xiu Mei, Xia Mu, is a popular green tea. Chun Mee green tea gets its name from the curve of the processed leaf resembling lady’s delicate eyebrow. Chunmee was originally produced only in the Chinese Jiangxi province, but is nowadays also grown elsewhere. The tea is divided into several grades with numbers like 41022, 4011, 9371, 8147, 9367, 9366, 3008 or 3009. The number 41022 in this case represents the highest quality, while number 8147 practically only consists of broken leaves.

Our organic pan-fried Chun Mee green tea comes from Anhui province, it produces a a highly fragrant, yellow-greenish brew, plum-like sweetness and smoothness, and a toasty warm clean finish, with a nice well-rounded flavor and aftertaste, making it an excellent green tea during the day.
