Anji White Tea, also known as Anji Bai Cha, is a kind of famous green tea produced in Anji County, Zhejiang Province, China. It is a comparatively rare tea, and as such, is among the most expensive teas in China.

 

Contrary to what the name of this tea implies, it is indeed a green tea. The name refers to the plants leaves, which are a very pale green and almost white. Anji White Tea is processed by using the tender leaves of white tea cultivar according to the green tea processing technology. As the raw material is collected from a tea bush, of which all tender leaves are present white, so, the Anji White tea present white. Anji White tea is a kind of rare variant of tea. What's more, because of the unique characteristic it seems very precious.

 

Prepared correctly, its' liquor is described as liquid silk. Vibrant green leaves will brew to a cup color of light apple green, with a lush scent of greenery mixed with fresh grass and asparagus with light notes of white flowers. The pale liquid slides suavely and smoothly through the mouth. The sweet and tart attack swells to aromas of ground cherries and fresh beans. The overall sensation is both gentle and dazzling and has a remarkable balance. Fresh and exquisite, the long vegetal finish is undercut with flowers and transports the taster.
