Pu’er tea is one of the most sought-after teas in the world who claimed to be a legendary, fermented dark tea sourced from ancient tea trees in the isolated forest canopies of the Yunnan Province in southwest China.

Our aged Pu’er Pearl tuo cha tea is a Dark tea taken from tall, old tea trees from forest, unlike the normal terrace tea from tea bushes arranged in rows which arose in the late 1970s. Our Pu’er pearl tuocha remains a rich taste, The liquor is dense and black. Multiple infusions are often made from this tea. It’s sort of the coffee lovers’ tea due to its rich full-bodied taste, gentle, elegant and comforting, like an embrace from a parent.

While the pu’er tea can also smell musty or taste stale if not stored well which led the mold and bacteria spoiled the tea during the long aging process. Traditional Sheng Pu'er (left), is allowed to naturally ferment and mature in flavor over time. The more recently invented Shu Pu'er (right) is piled into a moist mass and fermented far more quickly.
